Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before booking

Choosing a wedding photographer is an important decision, and it’s completely natural to have questions before confirming your booking. This section covers the most common queries about packages, timelines, delivery, and what to expect on the day. If there is anything else you would like to know, Sean is always happy to chat and provide guidance to ensure you feel confident and comfortable every step of the way.

What Is Your Style and How Do You Work?

A wedding day for me is about your story. Photos should be about the wedding, not dictate the day – I work in a creative and documentary style but I do love to get some epic and intimate couple’s shots in between! My style is a blend of contemporary and moody. I love natural light and moving throughout the day to catch you, your guests and those subtle moments that can fill the story of your wedding day.

How Long Will It Take To Receive Our Wedding Photos?

You will receive a teaser gallery of approx. 50 images shortly after your wedding day and full gallery can expected around 6 weeks after your wedding day.

Do You Do Other Shoots?

Yes, I love my Broken Ground series. Designed for couple’s who want more from their wedding photos in epic locations. Broken Ground takes couple’s on a pre- or post-wedding shoot to places that aren’t always possible on wedding days. Enquire for more info.

Do You Supply Wedding Albums?

Yes, I exclusively supply Dreambooks Pro for wedding galleries. Please ask about options and what’s involved in creating your wedding images into print.

Do You Have a Second Photographer With You On The Day?

Typically, I work alone. A second photographer can be requested however it cannot be guaranteed due to availability. If you have any worries about coverage, I’d be happy to talk you through the process and ways around getting coverage of you both.

Can You Cover Both of Us On A Wedding Morning?

I can cover both parties if you’re in the same location or within 10 minutes or so of each other. Once that distance starts to get further apart, that can create issues with getting the right amount of coverage and catching those key moments of the wedding morning. There are ways around this so please ask to find the best coverage for your day!

Do You Have A List Of Vendors You Like To Work With?

Yes! I have a list of great people who are amazing at what they do. From videographers to bands and more. Please always feel free to ask for a list of recommendations.

Do We Have A Pre-Wedding Meeting?

Yes, I typically reach out by email with a wedding day questionnaire the month before the wedding day. Once the questionnaire is completed, I follow up with scheduling a mid-week Zoom call with you to go through any finer details of the day. Usually a call takes 15-20 minutes and can be done online. In-person meetings are not necessary.

Have You Ever Photographed At Our Venue?

It is likely I have been at your venue before, however there are occasions where some venues are new to me. And I LOVE experiencing new venues! In these scenarios I would try my best to familiarize myself with the spot, but on a wedding day it’s important to remember I look and work with the light - every wedding day can be different and especially at different times of year a venue can be approached in different ways. Taking an organic approach to a new venue and working alongside your coordinator will ensure we’ll get some great shots and allow your day to run smoothly even if I haven’t been there before.

Do You Work Off A Shot List?

For family and friend photos, they work great! For couple’s photos however, I find it best to be organic and feel the vibe and light of the day! Specific shot lists for a couple’s session can often be too difficult to get every photo and can interrupt a photography flow.
